DLC & WC/C Coefficients of friction
I am working on a project about how coating materials, especially DLC and WC/C, could reduce the stick-slip (friction induced vibration). My concern is that during my preliminary experiments, I always get the same values of coefficient for DLC and WC/C (0.2-0.3). In the literature, most values of the coefficient of friction of DLC and WC/C are about 0.1-0.2. Is someone could explain to me this contradiction.
