Duranar will it benefit my company

I own a company in the UK and we specialize in the repair of insulated coldroom panels which consist of rockwool or pir core the metal face of the panel is white food safe stelvetite finish. At present we fill the damage with a car body filler then sand to a smooth finish then we spray paint the repair with a paint we have had manufactured and tinted to match the white finish of the panel we use an apollo800 airless turbine machine to spray the panels we get a good result and out customers are more than happy but I feel we are not quite there yet I am now hearing about duranar paint but can not find much information about it. My question is would this paint give me a better finish . Any help would be gratefully received.

I typed 'Duranar' into a search engine and the first few hits were technical data sheets from PPG for the processes related to this registered trademark. The coatings seemed to vary widely in recommended thicknesses and application methods, with the only common thread being that the top coat was a fluoropolymer.

The Duranar product that you are looking for is "Duranar ADS" - a one pack fluoropolymer coating that is designed for repairing damaged paint surfaces of cladding.

Whatever system you use to repair cold store cladding take care because the system may need to be "food safe" - I happen to know that the Stelvetite system is food safe and so there could also be a requirement for the repair system.
