Removing surface scratches from chrome

I own a Harley Davidson motorcycle which is full of chrome. I have some surface scratches on some of the chrome and I'm trying to find out how to remove those scratches without replating.

If the parts are actually chrome plated, there is no way to fix real scratches. The parts will have to be replated. If they are polished stainless or aluminum, they can be repolished by a polishing/chrome shop or you can do it yourself if you have the equipment - buffer wheels, compounds, etc. Never clean chrome with anything abrasive like scotchbrite.

We have a small brushed chrome bistro table that has a pattern on it. It was streaked when cleaned with a cleanser that contained bleach. Is there a way to fix it?

Thank you,

Q. Hi. I need to remove some light scratches on some chrome. Chrome polish (Meguiars) doesn't seem to have any affect. Any other options besides replating?

Thanks in advance,
