CEMENT PATINA
I PROBABLY WOULD NOT CONTACT YOU IF I WERE NOT THAT DESPERATE, BECAUSE MY QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT METAL FINISH. I AM ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR ANY KIND OF FINISH I CAN APPLY TO CEMENT OR CONCRETE, WHICH GIVES IT A LOOK THAT RESEMBLES NATURAL STONE. DO YOU KNOW WHAT I COULD USE OR WHERE TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT CEMENT FINISH? THANK YOU ANNE

I know of people using ferric sulphate to give cement and concrete a brown-red appearance.

If what you are looking for is a "patina" effect or an antique "mossy" look, try an alcohol based anilyn dye, available in all range of earth tones, and different greens. also try a product called "Cal Tint", which is used to color latex and water based paints, it also comes in 3 different tones of green including one called chrome oxide, which I think will give you the patina You are looking for, they also have burnt and raw umber, and burnt and raw siennas plus titanium white, relatively inexpensive so you can try until You get the look You want. Good luck.
