Chrome Plating Wood?

Does anyone know if there is a process for a durable chrome plating on a wood surface? If so, could you direct me to a company that can perform this on a very small run?

I don't think actual nickel-chrome plating of wood will prove practical, Rich. However, "chrome-look paint" has gotten much better over the past few years and I believe that few people would be able to tell chrome-look paint from real chrome plating in this application. Good luck.
