Gold sputtering isn't adhering to glass
I'm grad student trying to sputter(RF) gold on glass. My problem is I'm not able to get good adhesion of gold to the glass. I also tried using thin layer of Cr but it didn't helped me. Are there any post treatment procedures for gold sputtering?
Thanks for your time,

I'm sort of new to the field but I know gold doesn't oxidize, meaning it doesn't react with oxygen very readily. To get a good adhesion to glass, or silicon dioxide, you need that oxygen bond.
