Hello!
It has been a nice forum for solving the daily routine galvanizing problems. In my daily Hot dip galvanizing practice I have seen galvanizing kettles developing cracks and small holes in addition to bending of side walls if side flanges of appropriate thickness are not provided. To me the development of cracks and holes is due to hot shortness and bending is due to the development of stresses which are irresistible by side flanges. Kindly do let me know of your opinion
