Removing rust from antique iron Duncan-Phyfe legged table

I inherited a table with a 32" x 1" round black glass top(removable). The 3 legs are Duncan-Phyfe type with claw feet. I was in the storeroom for many years, and still has some of the flecks of accumulated paint on it, but for the most part has a thin layer of rust, however no pitting. This table was in my fathers bakery shoppe back in the late 20's. I would like to restore it to it's former glossy white.

I thank you for any assistance you can give me in the restoration.

P.S. I am 76 years old, and need something to keep me busy, and "out of the bars" (Joke).
