Gamma phase zinc coating on brass wires
2004
We coat zinc on brass wires (0.20mm) for use in EDM machines. We want to know more about a galvanizing process by which we can galvanize brass wire to gamma phase so that the surface of the wire becomes hard but the body of the wire remains ductile - for better cutting speed of the wire in the EDM machine. We are already doing this but desire improvements.
