Gold plating on silver zari, and alternatives

Q. I need to find an alternative for gold plating in running a process for zari manufacture. Someone help me out if you know any options are there.

Q. How is silver zari (used in silk sari weaving for borders) gold plated? And could you provide a list of basic chemicals needed for making an immersion plating of gold on the metallic silk threads?

30 gm potassium ferrocyanide
