2004

Respected sir,

We have 500 gallons of CARC Paint. and we are painting military vehicles. When we put the paint in pressure pot for painting after some while it dries. So I request to you that please give me a suggestion why it happens. I will be very grateful to you if I get the answer.

Thank you for your support. Sincerely,

Pressurize with nitrogen. Air is your problem.

If you are using the one part, air dry paint that is IAW Mil-C-53039, the moisture in the air is causing the paint to dry rapidly. As stated in the previous response, you can use Nitrogen, or use argon or carbon dioxide, (the kind that mig welders use should be fine).

Your getting condensation in your air lines which is going in your paint pot and making the carc get hard faster
