Need two anodizing thicknesses on the same piece

Q. I have a aluminum Round Tube OD 25.40 mm , WT 1.60 mm, length 700 mm and on this tube, there are 10 holes on one side of tube in a line and distance bet. two holes is 25 mm. We do anodize matte finish 25 micron. My question is as below ;

If I want to do hard chrome up to 120 microns , which will cover entire hole area i/e. 30 mm width and 300 mm in length, and rest of pipe should be in matte anodize 25 micron, whether two type of anodize in different micron is possible , if so, inform me the process or follow up

I will put this question another way : are two types of anodize in different micron thickness possible on same product ?

A. Mr. Madhav,

I have read your question, and I have started working on same, and you can hear from me soon. For you information I must tell you, there is nothing in world, which is not possible, only we have to take efforts. I will give you a clue, have you seen any car painting booth, if not visit, where you can find, they apply some strips, where they do not want color, they stick , n after all work they pull those strips, you must have some what this idea, only how to do , we have to try.
