Stainless Steel Etched Placards or name plates
Q. Dear sir,
I am presently engaged in the manufacture of Aluminium anodised, Brass and Stainless Steel Name Plates. I am quite new to this line of activity. I need your help in solving my following problem. Though I am quite successful in getting a result, I am not been able to etch stainless steel very deep using conventional etching processes. I am keen to know additives which can minimize undercuts and give a sharp deep etching. I am adapting Screen Printing Process for masking using acid and alkali resistant maskant. I request the reader to provide me with some solution for better masking paste, chemical additives or right etchant for my problem.
Thanking you,
