Chemical polish finish on stainless tubing
Q. Is there a chemical process to bring #4 stainless finish to a high polish, we are now doing it by hand rubbing.

A. Are you talking about internal surface polishing? if yes what is the max length, min diameter? There are two ways to polish internal surface: Electropolishing without pumping the electrolyte for pipes with diameter larger than 80 mm;
Electropolishing by pumping the electrolyte -for pipes with diameter from 14 to 80 mm. Both methods are based on acid-free electrolyte in which foam formation during the process do not prevent from electropolishing.
