2004

Q. Dear reader

I am a student. my activity research is electroless nickel plating on steel T5.

I used this bath:

nickel sulphate 30 g/l
sodium hypophosphite 15 g/l
lead acetate .015 g/l
sodium acetate 15 g/l
PH 4.8 - 5
Temp: 94 +- 2

after plating, the surface of coating include pitting, but appearance was very good. Please tell me how do it?!

Thank you,

A. One of the art is to dip the sample in the solution for some time and then take it out then dip it again and repeat the process for required time and thickness.
