Theoretical Max load size for chromic Anodizing




Q. We have a 1000 Amp rectifier running a standard chromic anodizing profile 0-40 v in 10 minutes hold for 20 mins at 40v 40-50v in 5 minutes hold for 5 mins at 50v. The anodizing solution is at 40g/ltr free chrome 60 g/ltr total chrome at 40'c. Tank volume is 4000 ltr, dimensions 1 x 1.35 x 3 mtr Jigs titanium Can any body advise how we can calculate the max load size per load.

A. Chromic acid anodizing is done at not more than 5ASF, so I figure you can process loads of 200 square feet, Steve.
