Safety standards for machining chrome plated bar

Q. We are trying to establish the health and safety aspects to machinists , who are machining CHROME plated bar. Are there any special precautions that should be adhered to.

A. I'm not aware of anything special for chrome plated bar versus other metals, and don't see any reason that there would be special requirements.
