Effect of temperature on hard anodize
Q. Do you have any ARTICLES/STUDIES on the effect of temperature on the hardness of Type III Hard Anodize Aluminum? I'm interested on Temperature ranges of 120 on through 500 F.

A. Sheasby and Pinner say, "...fine cracks may be observed at 80 - 100 C.......cracking is caused by the low coefficient of expansion of the anodic film which is approximately 0.2 times that of the metal..."
