What is N7 in metric standard

Please give me a list of conversion charts b/n Metric, Inch and other standards for surface roughness measurements 1. In a drawing, Surface finish asked was N7 on Outer dia. and N8 at Inner diameter. If it is converted into Ra or RMS what it will be. What is the relation between N... standards and Metric and Inches . Please give the details at earliest to proceed my works.

Thanks and best regards
