Bond building between stainless and carbon fiber panel
I would like a recommendation on how to etch 300 series stainless steel, that will be bonded to carbon fiber honeycomb panel. We currently use Epo-bond 420 adhesive. After etching and process shear specimens are produced. The bonding surface is 1 inch in diameter and .024 thick. This surface need to produce about a 2,000 pound load. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
