Do you seal aluminum after it has been brushed?

I am finishing an aluminum pipe with brush finish and want to know what type (if any) sealer you recommend.

Aluminum corrodes quickly, with unsightly blooming pits, so it cannot be left in the raw state after brushing or polishing. It must either be anodized by an anodizing shop, or be clear coated. If you browse our Directory of Chemicals and Consumables, you'll see listings for clear coats, and you can also consider automotive 2K clearcoating.
