de-wetting Detection

We have to solder components on a board. For a number of boards we seem to have a problem with the solder paste quality. We checked the solder paste and it looks OK. We also checked the rest of the parameters (oven cycle, stencils etc) and everything looks fine. So we came up to the conclusion that it might be the pads on the board that have a problem and that a possibility is to have de-wetting problem that makes the quality of the paste look bad.

How can we detect whether there is de-wetting problem? Is it just visual inspection that will show it to us or is there another way we can detect it? What are we looking for?
