Getting a brass patina finish to antique door hardware
My husband and I purchased some antique shutter doors from Italy. They have wrought iron bolts and parts. I would like to plate all the parts with brass or at least somehow give them the colour of brass patina finish. Any info/help would be great.

You can use next solution:
5 gms copper sulphate

Amazon [affil links]
5 gms tin chloride
1 lit water
This finish must be lacquered(mix good epoxy lacquer with some brown pigment)!
