I know little bit about patinizing but never heard anything about potash based patina for copper. Maybe liver of sulfur this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] is thing you need (melted mixture of sulfur this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] and potash/potassium carbonate/).

We are placing two copper strips to accent a strip of black walnut down the center of a red oak bar top. However the customer likes the look of aged or oxidized. They want to tarnish the copper before sealing the bar top to a permanent look. Any suggestions for a quick tarnish chemical application?
