Stopping Flash Rust on Blasted Steel, Cast Iron, Etc.
I have a small abrasive blasting business. I mostly do auto frames, fenders, bodies, etc. I also do some blasting for a local powder coating shop. The problem I am running into is keeping the bare metal items from flash rusting back after being stripped. Some of my clients request I prime their items, but many want just blasting done. I have heard of treatments for temporarily inhibiting rust that require no further process (can be primed or painted right over). Can anyone lead me in the right direction with this issue?
Thanks.
