Stripping Sn/Pb and replating Sn for Lead-free

2004

Hello,

For Lead-Free, I would like to replate Sn/Pb 90/10 plated terminations with 100% Sn. I use TL101 from Macdermid (50% vol) to strip Sn/Pb ( t = 7 µm) on Ni barrier (t = 5 µm), but I have de-wetability problems after replating. Would somebody have a good process of stripping Sn/Pb and replating Sn.

Thank you for your help,
