Is there an EN bath as good as zincating for aluminum materials?

As we are trying to reduce the cost of EN process applied on the aluminum cooling fins for PC, we are looking for an EN bath which does not only work as well as a EN bath but also replaces immersion zinc plating. In other words, is there any TWO in ONE EN bath for Al?

I have seen EN done directly on aluminum without any zincate but I wasn't involved in the details, unfortunately, so I can't relate them to you. Adhesion and salt spray testing are definitely called for.

You need to specify standards of test that the component is expected to match. Especially Corrosion resistance. It is necessary , because any suggestion will be less meaningful without a test prescribed. There are zincating Processes that contain small amounts of Nickel. There are Anodic treatments which can protect the aluminum. There are chromates which can help too. But without a corrosion resistance standard it is difficult to prescribe a solution.
