Alternatives to vacuum metallizing

My client wants vacuum metallising finishing on their component parts for Audio Video products. No reflection is needed by the parts but to have shining visibilities. Malaysia market is still short of these kind of manufacturing processes and thus we are facing shortage in supply to meet customer demands. Please recommend to me if there is better way to have the plastic components shinning, like nickel chroming but non-conductive surface.

There is no need to go for plating technologies for cosmetic plastic parts nowadays. Spray technologies, especially using UV cure types, with aluminum fillers will achieve excellent metallic looks. Plus it is non-conductive. Contact spray paint suppliers for advise. Alternatively, contact the larger molding house to do the spray painting job for you.
