Mr Chauhan,

Unlike any other product, you are making what is called Vark, that is used to give Indian sweets a silver look. Its silver foil that goes on top of sweets.

It has to be made of PURE silver.
It cannot contain anything that will harm Human beings.
It cannot be coated with harmful chemicals.

There is no Silver anti tarnish which is FOOD SAFE. There is no Chemical or metal that is food safe . You simply need to use the purest silver , four nine purity, and pack it in UN sulfurised Tissue paper for sale.

Dear Mr Nurie,

I'm greatly impressed that a Halwai (Sweet-Meat Maker) is also concerned with corrosion issues! I've heard that Varak is also used for immersion Silver plating, on brass parts in Delhi area, Silver plating on brass parts can be achieved at INR 3.00 per kg by this process. Hows that for scaring the life out the rest of the world?
