Optimum Conditions for Nickel Copper Electroplating
I am a high school student who is doing a chemistry project on electroplating. I was just wondering if you have any information on what the optimum conditions are for electroplating nickel onto copper(i.e., time, temperature, current, distance between plates). I am enquiring just to see how reliable my results are.

Sorry, but I don't know what you mean by "how reliable my results are". Do you mean someone gave you that information but you don't know if it's good? Nickel is usually plated at about 140 °F. The plating time is proportional to the thickness you seek and maybe 10 to 20 minutes would be a typical time. The plate spacing is usually as close as you can get without danger of touching or uneven plating. Probably nothing wrong with 2 to 4 inches.
