How to prepare solution for hydrogen embrittlement experiment

I try to do an experiment about hydrogen embrittlement, but I don't know how to prepare the solution. The equation is FeS+HCl-->H2S+FeCl. how to prepare it? and how to find out the exact volume of the chemical thing to be use and the rate of H2s to be produce?

First, I have no clue as to what the generation of H2S has to do with hydrogen embrittlement. Second, I trust that you know that H2S really smells bad and strong. It is also poisonous to the human body in concentrations as low as you can detect the smell. (of course, time is also a major factor).
