Baked enamel vs. field applied electrostatic paint
What is a more durable finish for exterior aluminum louvers, shop applied baked enamel or field applied electrostatic paint.

Dear Scott,
Durability is a question of "how will my louvers perform once installed" Outside performance will be enhanced by first considering the type of pre-treatment prior to coating.
Coatings consist of many types of resin systems - choosing the wrong type wether its applied in the factory or outside, air-dried or baked the wrong choice will result in disaster.
My choice: pre-treatment-Chromate Coating - powder coat specifying a polyester resin system.
