Strip and polish a Motorcycle tank

I would like to polish the steel tank on my motorcycle. How should I strip it (chemical, media blast, etc.) and what should I use to get a bright shine? What results can I expect?

The paint on the motorcycle tank can be stripped with Hot caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] solution or with Ester based strippers available for this purpose.

Subsequently the tank can be buffed thoroughly with abrasive emery powders 280 #, 400 #, 1000 #, Cloth mop - and then taken for Nickel chromium Electro plating.

The resultant product would be a shiny Petrol tank of your choice
