Salt Spray for SS304 bolt
I'm looking to use a SS304 bolt on an AC application that will be subject to the outside environment. Will a SS304 bolt pass the 96 hours salt spray test (ASTM ASTM B117) before developing red rust?

Jesse - Contact the manufacturer of the bolt for their testing specifications. For the low cost to have a 96 hour salt spray run (about $100), you could test a few yourself.
