Cracking aluminum and powder coating
When we try to powder coat an aluminum cylinders, approximately 4" in diameter, they crack during the process. Any ideas why?

Need a bit more info. At what stage of the process do they crack? What pretreatment are you using? What cure temp? time? Whats the cylinder? thick wall, thin?
