Cost of pickling pipe

I am working on designing a thermal fluid (hot oil) system. The boiler manufacturer recommends that the pipe be cleaned without water. They recommend pickling the pipe. I see in the inquiry above exactly what pickling is. What is the usual cost premium to do this?

I don't know of a pickling process that does not use water. There are oil flushing techniques for cleaning in place. Perhaps the manufacturer wants pickled and dried pipe for installation. Often times owners and manufacturers don't want water introduced into an installed system because removal can be difficult. I would recommend a pickled or polished pipe that is dried and passivated.
