I want galvanized bumpers
I work in a fabrication shop doing mostly steel work and I wish to know if a galvanized steel object can be chrome plated. The reason I am curious is that I want a pebbly but shiny surface on the bumpers of my 70 newport, I want something different, and was considering having them, along with the wheels galvanized because I like the texture it adds but I want them to stay shiny, can they just be polished and clear coated or is there a better solution?
Thanks for the help.

It would be quite a technical challenge to chrome plate a galvanized surface and I think it would completely change the look anyway if you were able to do it. I'd say galvanize and clear coat is your best plan.
