Removing gold plating from brass
I am interested in the cleanest, safest way to remove gold plating from some electronic pins. I'm, not interested in re-claiming the gold, but rather rather to remove it from some pins. I need to pins to be either "silver" in color, or paintable and simply want to rid the gold. I also want to do it in a way that won't harm (deeply etch) the base metal. I believe it is brass.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I am not 100 on this but if its electronic plated O'm PRETTY sure that it's copper not brass.
