Different RH at different temperatures

2004

Hi,

I'd like to know what kind of salt I should use for different kinds of temperature variations? I want to create RH=0%, 50% and 100% at 5 °C, RH=0%, 100% at 25 °C and finally RH=0%, 50% at 45 °C. (At 45 degrees I'll use water in a closed container under my sample, is that possible for 25 degrees too?) Thank you!

Best regards,

Dear Marina,

The best way is to add different quantities of ammonium chloride to reduce temperature and sodium hydroxide to increase temperature of water.
