Rust preventive coatings for horns

2004

Dear sir,

We are into a horn manufacturing company. An essential process before dispatch of horns overseas is polyurethane metal coating to avoid rust on horn body. We are looking for a cost effective solution to this process which can also be automated with regard to production point of view. Looking for an early response.

Regards,

Horns are normally black in color. I would recommend a 20 micron coating of epoxy E-coat. This will give you a salt spray resistance of 1000 hoursASTM B117. Hope this helps.
