Troubleshooting Barrel Plating

Hi,

My Company is setting up for barrel plating copper onto lead projectiles for our state Police Department. I would like to know which book or books that can help with trouble shooting in copper cyanide baths. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't clear to me whether you need information on copper cyanide plating, Robert, or an introduction to electroplating in general. The distinction is important because 90 percent of your plating problems will arise from sources other than within the copper cyanide plating tank itself. The Canning Handbook [on eBay, Amazon, AbeBooks affil links] is unbeatable.

"Trouble in Your Tank" by Larry Durney would be a good one too, but it's also currently out of print. Other than those, please see our list of "must have" books. Good luck.
