Decorative aluminum etching (e.g. orange peel texture)
I am an electroplater/anodiser with about 10 years hands-on experience (Own jobbing shop), specializing in technical finishes. I have been approached to produce decorative finishes on aluminum blow-moulds for plastic bottles (e.g., orange peel), but can't get the texture right.

Dear Christoph,
You can etch through template or gauze . Spraying with etch resistant lacquer through gauze or net, and alkaline or acidic etch afterward.

We are looking for aluminum sheets embossed with decorative foil (used in the windows and doors industry). The sheets are usually 1,2mm thick and the most used wooden decorative foil is Renolit (trade name) but other manufacturers are okay, too. This is not just the lamination of these sheets (we do that ourselves) but the embossing with foil in a milled/ frased structure look. Thank you for any help.
Regards
