Hand dip metal roses?

I have made some life size roses out of sheet metal and I want to paint them. Spraying will not get down in the petals and brush painting is time consuming with less than desirable results. I think dipping may be an option but I'm having problems finding info. Can I powder coat them maybe. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

How about electrophoretic paint? It works fantastically on cars.

Hello Debbie,

You would run into the same problems with powder coating as you would with spray painting. Dipping the parts could work, but be aware that you would be working against gravity, and you will most likely have uneven finishes and drip marks.

I looked into that process a little. Is this something I can do on a small scale? Does anyone know where to get info? Thank you!
