Removing the impurities from a stainless sheet
We fabricate SS 316 grade steel around 5-12 mm thick. The top most layer of the steel is impure or very rough. I need a solvent to remove the top most layer the steel please help in this matter.

Dear friend:
As I understand your problem you need to clean your stainless steel 316.look you must use a suitable degreaser to remove oil from the surface, then rinse after you can use the following formulation :
PHOSPHORIC ACID 36%
sulfurIC ACID 15%
WATER THE REST
TEMP 45 C
C.D 50 AMP/Ft2
YOU well get a clean bright surface.

You didn't say anything about how wide your sheets are, but the fastest way to remove scale is via an in-line blast method; however, it maybe possible to use a wide belt abrasive method.

You can use a chemical/degreaser for coming out of your problem which is available in Delhi.
