Chemicals for testing zinc plating
I need a handy way to test for zinc coating on steel coil. What would be the easiest chemical to use considering Storage/Handling and access to purchase? Thanks:-)

It depends on exactly what you need to test and why, Scott, but a magnetic thickness tester would not involve any chemicals or any destruction of the coil and is quite inexpensive. Good luck.
