Restoring lacquer finish to solid copper platter
I have a large antique solid copper serving platter that has had the lacquer finish damaged. Is there any way to remove and restore the lacquer finish?

I would use a paint sripper and then polish it don't bother to re-coat it it's much easer to keep it polished.
