Electrodeposition of Pt as a fuel-cell catalyst

2003

Hi,

I was wondering whether we can include Pt catalyst in fuel cell electrodes by electrodeposition process. As I am planning to start a fuel cells project this would be of great use..

Thanks,

It is possible to electrodeposit platinum, but whether this is applicable to your fuel cell problem, no one will know unless you give some more details of what you want to coat.

I have read a lot of literatures about this topic, but I haven't seen its commercial application. And I wonder if it could be used in the Ni-H2 battery, as the hydrogen electrode.
