Burrs causing undersize holes
I manufacture a family of .005 to . 020 thick shim products with a +- .0004 tolerance on a stamped hole. I presently abrasive media tumbling process and have problems of the blanking turning into the hole causing it to be undersize. I am trying to understand my potential of using chemical deburring as a substitute.

I'm surprised you didn't say anything about distortion as well. Before you consider ECD, I'd suggest you look into a dry abrasive organic media process. This is a blend of inorganic and organic materials. If you need any help, get in touch.
