What does cadmium smell like?
My son, who is in the 6th grade, is doing a report on cadmium...One of the questions he was asked is... What does cadmium smell like? That is my question.

It doesn't, Terry. A material cannot smell unless molecules of it enter your nose, and it is not typical for molecules of a metal like cadmium to break off and enter the air.
