Creating oxidation film on copper to retard erosion
We are looking at a method that creates an oxidation film/layer on the surface of copper tubing. This is because we have heard that oxidation creates a film that then inhibits erosion potential. We are looking at this because we have a design that creates higher velocities of water and turbulence which are factors that contribute to erosion.
Thanks for any help!

That's a new one for me, William. If you could source this claim about improved erosion resistance I'd find it interesting. Meanwhile, my gut feel is that plating with electroless nickel or chrome is a more direct route to the surface qualities you seek.
